HTML5 VS. FLASH
The article shows a very interesting point of view concerning HTML5 and Flash. Though I am not a big fan of creating websites using Flash and much prefer coding in HTML myself, I must admit it is true that there certainly are a lot of things Flash can do which HTML will never be able to.
Also, in my honest opinion I do think HTML5 and CSS3 is used way to much in contemporary web design nowadays. Like the article stated, HTML5 and CSS3 aren’t web standard just yet, and there are still some browsers (and different versions of each) which can’t fully understand and properly display these new web languages. Both HTML5 and CSS3 were developed to make creating and developing websites a hell of a lot easier, but as long as they aren’t web standards and aren’t compatible with all browsers tell make creating websites more difficult and a lot more complicated. Different stylesheets and different lines of code for each existing browser. Resulting in a lot more code and just a lot more work.
I’m not saying HTML5 and CSS3 are bad, because I do it’s technology is simply amazing, it’s just something to think about before starting of your next web project.
